Clubs are an integral part of student’s life. They help them to grow their skills and to communicate with students from different class. The chief guest of the program was Father Avinash SJ, Finance Officer of Loyola Institution, Manvi. The director, Father Cyril Raj SJ, headmistress Sister Juliet and our assistant headmaster Mr. David also joined the chief guest on the dais. We had Bhoomika from class 10 as our emcee. The program started with a harmonious prayer song by the school choir group. Then we had the welcome speech given by Muttu of class 9. His speech set the tone of the program. After that the dignitaries inaugurated the clubs by cutting the ribbon of beautiful inaugural board made by our teachers Mr. Thirupathi and Ms Tanuja. Then we called Suma of class 8 to introduce the chief guest. After which we called Father Avinash to address the students. He told a story to the students to help them understand the importance of growing their skills daily. He also told a full form of CLUB as C for Creativity, L for Learning, Y for Yourself and B for Be the best. His words motivated the students a lot. After Father’s speech, we had presentations by each clubs. The clubs included were Art and Craft Club, Chess Club, Environment Club, Social Service Club, Science Club, Dance and Drama Club, Kannada Sanga and Music Club. These presentations were made so that the students know about the clubs and they can choose their club wisely. After which we had our headmistress addressing the students, she also lead her address by a story for students to motivate them. Then we had our Director speaking to the students to tell them to never stop developing their skills. Lastly we had the vote of thanks given by Shravani of class 9.
