Environment Day

June 06, 2024

On June 5th 2024, Loyola School celebrated Environment Day within its premises, highlighting the school's commitment to environmental stewardship. The ceremony commenced with a serene prayer song, setting a reflective tone for the event. Fr. Cyril Raj, the Director of Loyola School, delivered an inspiring speech about the critical importance of planting saplings and actively protecting nature. He stressed the urgency of these actions in combating climate change and preserving biodiversity.

Additionally, Sr. Juliet HM of Loyola School emphasized protecting nature is a collective duty. She passionately encouraged everyone to take concrete steps, such as planting a sapling, to help prevent pollution and safeguard the environment for future generations. Her speech was met with enthusiastic applause, reflecting the audience's shared commitment to environmental causes.

The teaching staff and students of Loyola Institutions, all present at the event, participated actively in the activities, including a symbolic tree-planting ceremony in the school garden.

The celebration not only raised awareness about environmental issues but also fostered a sense of community and shared responsibility among all.
