Inauguration of the academic year 2024-25

On July 15th, 2024, the Inauguration of the new academic year 2024-25 took place at Arrupe Hall. The event began with a prayer service led by the choir group, followed by a vibrant welcome dance by the students. The academic year was officially inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr. Sudhakar Sanjeev, headmaster of a government school. Father Cyril Raj, the director of Loyola School, delivered the opening address, inspiring the students with a beautiful message about the importance of studies.

 Mr. Sudhakar Sanjeev reflected on the 20-year history of Loyola School and encouraged the 10th standard students to set a positive example by emulating their teachers and striving to become responsible citizens. The president of the institute Fr Leo Pereira SJ addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of setting goals, dreaming big, and working diligently to achieve those goals, especially for the 10th standard students. Sister Juliet, the headmistress of Loyola School, provided guidance on the school diary and the rules that students are expected to follow.

The program concluded with a final dance performance by the students, highlighting the theme of the importance of education, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks.
