Capacity Building Program

School education commission Jesuit Madurai province conducted capacity building for new teachers from South Zone from May 1st to 10th in Kodaikanal. A comprehensive capacity building program involving 37 teachers from four different states. The program aimed at enhancing the participants' skills in various domains of teaching and personal development.

The 10 days session began with an interesting activity, in which each group was asked to illustrate and present problems in the society on a chart paper.

Capacity Building Program mainly focused on the following topics.

-English Grammar and Pronunciation.

-Jesuit Legacy of Education

-Cyber Wisdom for Teachers and Teens.

-ICT in Teaching and Learning

-Stress Management

-NEP focus Area and Implications

-Safeguarding the Rights of Children

-Education for Transformation

-Enhancing the communicative Competence in English.

The program concluded with a valedictory session. Participants shared their experiences and reflections, expressing how the program renewed their spirits and equipped them with new skills. They returned to their places with a sense of renewal, revitalization, and resilience, ready to dispel ignorance and make a positive impact. This capacity building program was a significant step in professional development for the teachers, providing them with valuable knowledge, skills, and experiences to enhance their teaching practices and personal growth.
