The Foundation Day of Loyola School, Manvi, was celebrated on June 29th with great enthusiasm. The event began with a beautiful prayer song, setting a reverent tone for the day's proceedings. The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Fr. Anthony Joseph SJ, along with President Fr. Leo Pereira SJ, and Fr. Maxim Rasquinha SJ. The school, known for its long-standing tradition of academic excellence and community service, continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of its students and nurturing them to become responsible and successful citizens.
The celebration included the recognition and honoring of teachers who have excelled in their efforts, particularly those who cleared competitive exams. Additionally, all staff members who have served the institution for over 10 years were honored for their dedication and commitment.
A highlight of the event was a beautiful Power Point presentation by each unit of the school, showcasing the successful journey of the last academic year. The celebration also featured captivating dance and drama performances, centered on the theme of the gradual growth of Loyola School. These performances vividly illustrated the school's development and achievements over the years.
In his address, Fr. Anthony Joseph SJ emphasized the importance of education and praised the hard work of the teachers, recognizing their crucial role in the students' success. He highlighted that education empowers students to overcome challenges and develop strong problem-solving skills. He also noted that students who excel academically not only bring pride to their families but also contribute positively to society.
We also recalled and thanked the fathers who started this mission, acknowledging their tireless efforts to bring quality education to the village of Manvi. The current fathers serving at the institution were also thanked for their ongoing efforts to uphold and advance the school's mission.
